George Johnson, a Chartered Physiotherapist, believes that Physiotherapy/Injury treatment should be available to all, not just the rich or elite sportsperson. With that in mind he will keep his prices as low as possible for as long as possible. George started his career in sports medicine as a sports massage therapist, but soon realized that massage alone cannot affect injuries in any way, (in fact if applied at the wrong time or a wrong technique is used it can be harmful and actually slow down the healing proceses).   It has a small role to play, but must be combined with other therapies such as ultra-sound, progressive re-hab exercises and more to be effective. He then went on to train   as a physiotherapist   at the Academy of Sports Therapy (accredited by Middlesex University) and more importantly The Football Association Medical School, based at Lillishall.

Following this he took up the post of first team physiotherapist at Gillingham Football Club,   a professional team, then playing in the English Championship. This took him to almost every football ground in the league, meeting many famous footballers past and present.

After leaving football, George became the England Hardball Roller Hockey Team Physiotherapist/Fitness coach. He traveled to China, all over Europe   and the USA with them on a very successful World Cup campaign.

He now runs a Physiotherapy/Sports injury clinic in Herne Bay and is working in a part time role at Margate FC with Terry yorath and Nevil Southhall.

Until recently George Johnson was the first team physiotherapist for Gillingham Football Club (a professional Football Club in the English Football League) and the England Hardball Hockey Team. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy as well as The Association of Chartered Physiotherapist in Sports Medicine, The World Federation of Athletic Therapist and Trainers, World Federation of Sports Physiotherapist, Society of Sports Therapy, member of the Physiotherapy Pain Association, member of the Independent Professional Therapists International. Is a UK Athletics recommended practioner and is Registered with the Health Professions Council. He has strong ties with a number of local sports clubs and is a supporter of  FANS ( Free Admission for National Sportspeople). Among his clients, past and present, are international athletes, footballers, boxers, professional squash players, golfers, tennis players and many more people, from all sports, of all ages and all walks of life.
